Social responsibility

At glup, we are conscious of the partners we do business with, the communities we serve, and our beautiful planet. Our daily activities reflect this.

Our values

Contributing to society: giving back to communities and promoting a “buy local” mentality are glup priorities. A percentage of profits from certain products are given to different foundations such as Fondation OLO and PROCURE.

We were moved by Fondation OLO’s mission: to help children get a good start in life.

PROCURE is a foundation whose main objective is to provide science and humanity with the means to help prevent and cure prostate cancer. glup made Koualas in their honour to help raise funds for their foundation.

glup loves to make people happy, whether it’s handing out presents in less fortunate communities or organizing contests and promotions with our online communities.

Minimizing our ecological footprint: our accessories are designed, cut, and made in Quebec by manufacturers in Montreal, the Eastern Townships and la Beauce. Even our labels and packaging are printed in Quebec. This is a choice we made from the get-go.

Because we like to be different, we are proud to work with a Montreal-based company that makes our one-of-a-kind fabrics with the patterns and colours we choose. These are used to make the Triminis, Mitous, Patous and some of the Saint-Bernards+ (now that’s what we call “Made in Canada”).

Moreover, some of our accessories are made from fabrics purchased from other Quebec designers to avoid waste, and to stimulate local purchasing and mutual assistance.

For the rest, we source from North American companies.

Durability and multi-functionality: all of our products are multifunctional and last a long time. By creating just one item that will last a long time, we are working towards reducing consumption.
